There are NO CREDIBLE news stories about this alleged killing over some J’s….
It’s 11am here in NY…and if we have yet to hear it on ANY type of news source then I’m inclined to believe this to be a hoax.
Furthermore, when you google “Tyreek Amir Jacobs” you do NOT bring up any type of substantiated reports from credible news outlets. Instead what you see are a plethora of Twitter/Tumblr/YouTube mentions about this “situation”.
I come from an era when people getting killed/stabbed/robbed over a pair of Jordan sneakers were commonplace. I even remember when Michael Jordan would hold news conferences imploring people to not partake in any type of violence in the desire to have a sneaker which bore his name.
It’s a sad thing that people have actually died and have been grievously injured all in the name of “Keeping Up With The Jones’”. It’s equally sad that, in this day and age where news can go viral in seconds, that people would make up these kinds of stories.
I’m sure that there are quite a few Tyreek Jacobs’ somewhere out there among 7 billion people. Imagine what kind of heartache such proproganda is causing their families….to hear the name of their loved one and think it to be him.
All for what?…A few RTs, rebloggs and YouTube comments…???
It’s not worth it…..USE COMMON SENSE!!!

Cops: Rapper Slim Dunkin
slain in studio

Atlanta police say the rapper Slim Dunkin was gunned down Friday evening in a music studio as he was preparing to record a video.
Police Maj. Keith Meadows said the rapper, whose real name is Mario Hamilton, was fatally shot in the chest after getting into an argument with another individual.
He was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Meadows told The Associated Press late Friday that police have not been able to identify the shooter. He said investigators have been interviewing those who were inside the studio. He said as many as 20 people were inside the small office-type building at the time of the shooting, which took place around 5:30 p.m. local time, but they were in different places.
Police have not recovered the handgun that was used. Investigators remained at the scene late Friday evening.
"Right now we’re just trying to….identify who may have seen what, really just trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together," Meadows said. "It seems everybody witnessed something very different. We’re just trying to go back and make sense of everything."
Slim Dunkin had appeared on a number of songs with the rapper Waka Flocka Flame. The website Mtv.com reported that the Brick Squad Monopoly rapper was on a solo track and had recently released a 20-track mix tape that featured Gucci Mane, Roscoe Dash and Pastor Troy.
"It appears the victim was scheduled to do a photo shoot," Meadows said of Friday’s events. "Before the video shoot took place, it appears the victim and suspect got involved in a verbal altercation. We don’t know what that altercation was about."
"The suspect produced a weapon, discharged that handgun one time, striking the victim in the chest," Meadows said.
Meadows said the victim was in his early 20s and resided in the Atlanta area.
Many fans were posting messages late Friday night on a Facebook page for the rapper.
The website AllHipHop.com last February described Slim Dunkin, a Detroit native, as an up-and-coming talent with “a unique lyrical ability and style all his own.”
In an interview with the website, he described himself as someone “trying to provide for his family by making something out of nothing just trying to beat the odds.”
"I don’t have amazing lyrical ability I just know how to speak on what I been through and where I came from," he said.
Asked what to expect from him in 2011, he responded: “Music, music, music!”

Taylor Swift Spotlights ‘Ours’ Video Director in Behind-the-Scenes Series – Webisode Two
“This is my second time working with Declan as a director,”
Taylor Swiftsays to start off the second behind-the-scenes webisode of her new‘Ours’ video. In thefirst part of the series, Swift briefly introduced the video’s director, Declan Whitebloom, who also directed the video for ‘Mean.’ In this clip, she explains in detail why she’s so comfortable being in cahoots with him.
“I wrote the treatment for the [‘Ours’] video, which is the storyline and the details of it, and he directed it — so it was very collaborative,” Swift says in the short video below. “I had a very definitive idea as to what I wanted this video to be, so I just wrote it and I sent it to him, and he called and was like, ‘I’m so excited. Let’s do it.’”
And so the creative pair found themselves filming yet another music video together. In the making of the video footage seen here, viewers can spy Whitebloom coaching the singer on specific facial expressions, consulting with her on the set and, of course, having a few laughs.
“When Taylor says, ‘I’ve got an idea,’ you listen to what she’s gonna say! And so I did, and it was a great idea and I loved it,” he says in the piece, later adding that he “knew it was gonna be a good experience” and that their balance of trust is what made the project work.

Kourtney Kardashian Is Pregnant With Baby No. 2!
Can’t get enough of the adorableness known as Mason Disick?
Well, you’re in luck: He’s gonna be a big brother!
That’s right, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are expecting their second child together.
(Cue Mason’s supercute diaper dance.)
In an exclusive statement to E! News, Kourtney says, “Scott and I are so excited to announce that we are expecting our second child and are thrilled to be expanding the love in our family.” Kourt first confirmed the happy news to Us Weekly.
And while rumors swirled over the summer that the 32-year-old might already be on her way to delivering a playmate for Mason, it was really just five weeks ago that she even took a pregnancy test. Which, of course, turned out positive, leading her to wake up Scott and tell him the good news—at the bright and early hour of 7 a.m.
"Now I’m nine weeks along," she told the mag. "You’re supposed to wait 12 weeks to tell people, but I feel confident."
Meanwhile, Scott said that the pregnancy wasn’t exactly a shock.
"It wasn’t like we weren’t trying," the 28-year-old said. "We kind of just said, ‘If it’s meant to be, it’ll be.’ "
And what perfect timing! The eldest Kardashian sister just started her web series, Kourtney’s Mommy Blog, on E! Online, where she dishes on what she’s learned raising Mason, shares her kid tips, parenting philosophy and A-list know-how, starting with fashion.
It seems fitting that there might be some pregnancy tips coming up soon, too.
Congrats to the growing family!

'I've seen lots of people come and go'
She may be 65 years old and one of the music world’s best known performers, but that hasn’t stopped Cher from overreacting to a fan’s comments on her Twitter page. Thanks to the social networking site, the singer ended up at loggerheads with rap star Nicki Minaj after a fan instigated the clash. Nicki, 28, was accused by one of Cher’s supporters of ‘dissing’ the singer in a song from her album Pink Friday. A Cher fan alerted the singer to Minaj’s track Did It On ‘Em saying: “@cher did you know that b***h @NICKIMINAJ dissed you in her song DID IT ON EM.” To which Cher confidently replied: “I’ve seen lots of people come & go! No biggie!”
However, she soon felt the wrath of ‘Team Minaj’, with fans coming out in defence of the rap superstar and saying Cher should listen to the song before responding. In the song, Minaj raps: “If you could turn back time, Cher/You used to be here, now you’re gone, Nair.” It was explained that the lyrics were merely a rap metaphor and not a jab at Cher herself. Eventually, though, Cher admitted defeat and accepted she was in the wrong. She wrote: “U R right! Someone said I was dissed… I’ve been dissed b4, but instead of finding out… I just got defensive! I should know better! Dumb.” Her tweets were then deleted from her profile. In the midst of all this, Minaj only had one quick tweet to offer once she learned about what was going on. She simply wrote: “@Cher #stopit5.”
